I am the father of this world, the mother, the supporter, the grandfather (pitāmaha), The object of knowledge, the purifier, the syllable Om, the Rig, the Sama, and the Yajur Vedas as well.
I am the universal father, mother, granter of all, grandfather, object of knowledge, purifier, holy syllable OM, threefold sacred lore.
(17) I am the father of this world, mother, ordainer, grandsire, [all] that need lie known; vessel of purity [am I, the sacred syllable] Om, and the Rig-, Sama-, and Yajur-Vedas too,
9.17 Of this world I am the father, mother, ordainer, (and the), grandfather; I am the knowable, the sanctifier, the syllable Om as also Ṛk, Sama and Yajus.
9.17 I am the father, mother, creator and grandfather of the universe. I am the purifier. I am the syllable Om and also Ṛk, Sāman and the Yajus.
