Or whatever state of being he remembers when he abandons the body at the end, To that very one he goes, O son of Kunti (Kaunteya), always transformed into that state of being.
Whatever being he remembers when he abandons the body at death, he enters, Arjuna, always existing in that being.
(6) Whatever state a man may bear in mind when in the end he casts his mortal frame aside, even to that state does he accede, for ever does that state make him grow into itself.
8.6 O son of Kuntī, thinking of any entity whichever it may be one gives up the body at the end, he attains that very one, having been always engrossed in its thought.
