Fire, light, day, the bright half of the month, the six months of the sun's northern course; Departing then, they go to Brahman, the men who know Brahman.
Men who know the infinite spirit reach its infinity if they die in fire, light, day, bright lunar night, the sun's six-month northward course.
(24) Fire, light, day, [the moon's] light [fortnight], the six months of the [sun's] northern course,—dying in these to Brahman do they go, the men who Brahman know.
8.24 Fire, light, daytime, the bright fortnight, the six months of the Northern solstice-by following this Path, persons who are knowers of Brahman attain Brahman when they die.
