Having restrained all the gates of the body, and having confined the mind in the heart, Having placed his vital breath (prāṇa) in the head, established in yogic concentration (dhāraṇā),
Controlling the body's gates, keeping the mind in the heart, holding his own breath in his head, one is in disciplined concentration.
(12) Let a man close up all [the body's] gates, stem his mind within the heart, fix his breath within the head, engrossed in Yogic concentration,
