By the delusion of the pairs of opposites, arising from desire and hatred, O descendant of Bharata (Bhārata), All beings fall into complete bewilderment at creation, O Scorcher of foes (Parantapa).
All creatures are bewildered at birth by the delusion of opposing dualities that arise from desire and hatred.
(27) By dualities are men confused, and these arise from desire and hate; thereby are all contingent beings bewildered the moment they are born.
7.27 O scion of the Bhārata dynasty, O destroyer of foes, due to the delusion of duality arising from likes and dislikes, all creatures become bewildered at the time of their birth.
