By these three states of being composed of the qualities (guṇas), this entire world Is bewildered, and does not recognize Me, who am supreme beyond them and imperishable.
All this universe, deluded by the qualities inherent in nature, fails to know that I am beyond them and unchanging.
(13) By these three states of being inhering in the constituents this whole universe is led astray and does not understand that I am far beyond them and that I neither change-nor-pass-away.
7.13 All this world, deluded as it is by these three things made of the guṇas (qualities), does not know Me who am transcendental to these and undecaying.
7.13 The entire universe is deluded by these three states originating from the Guṇas (of Prakṛti), and fails to recognize Me, who am beyond them and immutable.
7.13 Deluded by these Natures (states or things) composed of the three qualities of Nature all this world does not know Me as distinct from them and immutable.
