For the mind is restless, O Dark one (Kṛṣṇa), turbulent, strong, and stubborn. I consider the restraint of it as extremely difficult to do, like the wind.
Krishna, the mind is faltering, violent, strong, and stubborn; I find it as difficult to hold as the wind.
(34) For fickle is the mind, impetuous, exceeding strong: how difficult to curb it! As difficult as to curb the wind, I would say.
6.34 For, O Kṛṣṇa, the mind is unsteady, turbulent, strong and obstinate. I consider its control to be as greatly difficult as of the wind.
6.34 For the mind is fickle, O Kṛṣṇa, impetuous, powerful and stubborn. I think that restraint of it is as difficult as that of the wind.
6.34 The mind verily is restless, turbulent, strong and unyielding, O Kṛṣṇa: I deem it as difficult to control it as to control the wind.
