Disciplined in yoga, of purified self, with self conquered and senses subdued, Whose self has become the self of all beings, even acting, he is not tainted.
Armed with discipline, he purifies and subdues the self, masters his senses, unites himself with the self of all creatures; even when he acts, he is not defiled.
(7) Well versed in spiritual exercise, his self made pure, his self and senses quelled, his self become the [very] self of every contingent being, though working still, he is not defiled.
5.7 Endowed with yoga, [i.e. devoted to the performance of the nitya and naimittika duties.] pure in mind, controlled in body, a conqueror of the organs, the Self of the selves of all beings-he does not become tainted even while performing actions. [The construction of the sentence is this: When this person resorts to nitya and naimittika rites and duties as a means to the achievement of fully Illumination, and thus becomes fully enlightened, then, even when he acts through the apparent functions of the mind, organs, etc., he does not become afflicted.]
5.7 He who follows the Yoga and is pure in self (mind), who has subdued his self and has conquered his senses and whose self has become the self of all beings, even while he is acting, he is untainted.
5.7 He who is devoted to the path of action, whose mind is quite pure, who has conquered the self, who has subdued his senses and who realizes his Self as the Self in all beings, though acting, is not tainted.
