नैव तस्य कृतेनार्थो नाकृतेनेह कश्चन। न चास्य सर्वभूतेषु कश्चिदर्थव्यपाश्रयः ॥3.18॥
3.18 naiva tasya kṛtenārtho nākṛteneha kaś cana na cāsya sarvabhūteṣu kaś cid arthavyapāśrayaḥ

For him there is no purpose here in what is done, nor in what is not done. Nor among all beings is there any dependence for him on any object.
