Thus set in motion the wheel, he who does not follow it here, Living in sin (agha), delighting in the senses, he lives in vain, O son of Pritha (Pārtha).
He who fails to keep turning the wheel here set in motion wastes his life in sin, addicted to the senses, Arjuna.
(16) So was the wheel in motion set: and whoso here fails to match his turning [with the turning of the wheel], living an evil life, the senses his pleasure- ground, lives out his life in vain.
3.16 O Pārtha, he lives in vain who does not follow here the wheel thus set in motion, whose life is sinful, and who indulges in the senses.
3.16 He who does not follow the wheel thus set in motion here, lives in sin, satisfying the senses, O Arjuna. He lives in vain.
3.16 He who does not follow here the wheel thus set revolving, who is of sinful life, rejoicing in the senses, he lives in vain, O Arjuna.
