Having abandoned all desires (kāmān), the man who, Moves about free from longing, Free from the sense of "mine" (nirmama) and free from ego (nirahaṅkāra), He attains peace (śānti).

(71) The man who puts away all desires and roams around from longing freed, who does not think, ‘This I am’, or ‘This is mine’, draws near to peace.
2.71 That man attains peace who, after rejecting all desires, moves about free from hankering, without the idea of ('me' and) 'mine', and devoid of pride.
