Therefore, of whom, O Great-armed one (Mahābāho), They are restrained from all sides, The senses from the objects of the senses, His wisdom (prajñā) is firmly established.
So, Great Warrior, when withdrawal of the senses from sense objects is complete, discernment is firm.
(68) And so whose senses are withheld from the objects proper to them, wherever he may be, firm-stablished is the wisdom of such a man.
2.68 Therefore, O mighty-armed one, this wisdom becomes established whose organs in all their varieties are withdrawn from their objects.
