Arjuna said: How shall I, in battle, against Bhishma And Drona, O Slayer of Madhu (Madhusūdana), Fight back with arrows? They are worthy of worship, O Slayer of enemies (Arisūdana).
Krishna, how can I fight against Bhishma and Drona with arrows when they deserve my worship?
Arjuna said: (4) Kṛṣṇa, how can I fight Bhīṣma and Droṇa in battle, [how assail them] with [my] arrows? for they are worthy of respect.
2.4 Arjuna said -- O Madhusūdana, O destroyer of enemies, how can I fight with arrows in battle against Bhīṣma and Droṇa who are worthy of adoration?
2.4 Arjuna said -- How can I, O slayer of foes, aim arrows in battle against Bhīṣma and Droṇa who are worthy of reverence?
2.4 Arjuna said -- How, O Madhusūdana, shall I fight in battle with arrows against Bhīṣma and Droṇa, who are fit to be worshipped, O destroyer of enemies?
