Also considering your own duty (svadharma), You ought not to waver. For than a battle in accordance with duty (dharma), There is no greater good for a warrior (kṣatriya).
Look to your own duty; do not tremble before it; nothing is better for a warrior than a battle of sacred duty.
(31) Likewise consider your own [caste-]duty, then too you have no cause to quail; for better than a fight prescribed by law is nothing for a man of the princely class.
2.31 Even considering your own duty you should not waver, since there is nothing else better for a Kṣatriya than a righteous battle.
