The embodied one (dehī) is eternal and unkillable, In the body of everyone, O descendant of Bharata (Bhārata). Therefore, for all beings, You ought not to grieve.
The self embodied in the body of every being is indestructible; you have no cause to grieve for all these creatures, Arjuna!
(30) Never can this embodied [self] be slain in the body of anyone [at all]: and so you have no need to grieve for any contingent being. Caste Duty and Honor
2.30 O descendant of Bhārata, this embodied Self existing in everyone's body can never be killed. Therefore you ought not to grieve for all (these) beings.
2.30 The self in the body, O Arjuna, is eternal and indestructible. This is so in the case of the selves in all bodies. Therefore, it is not fit for you to feet grief for any being.
2.30 This, the Indweller in the body of everyone, is ever indestructible, O Arjuna; therefore, thou shouldst not grieve for any creature.
