The Lord (Īśvara) stands in the region of the heart of all beings, O Arjuna, Causing all beings to wander by His mysterious power (māyā), as if mounted on a machine.
Arjuna, the lord resides in the heart of all creatures, making them reel magically, as if a machine moved them.
(61) In the region of the heart of all contingent beings dwells the Lord, twirling them hither and thither by his uncanny power (māyā) [like puppets] mounted on a machine.
18.61 O Arjuna, the Lord resides in the region of the heart of all creatures, revolving through Maya all the creatures (as though) mounted on a machine!
18.61 The Lord, O Arjuna, abides in the heart of every being, spinning them round and round, mounted on a wheel as it were, by His power.
18.61 The Lord dwells in the hearts of all beings, O Arjuna, causing all beings, by His illusive power, to revolve as if mounted on a machine.
