Hear My determination concerning that abandonment (tyāge), O best of the Bharatas (Bharatasattama). For abandonment (tyāga), O tiger among men (puruṣavyāghra), is declared to be of three kinds.
Arjuna, hear my decision about relinquishment; it is rightly declared to be of three kinds.
(4) Hear [then] my own decision in this matter of surrender: for threefold is self-surrender; so has it been declared.
18.4 O the most excellent among the descendants of Bhārata, hear from Me the firm conclusion regarding that tyāga. For, O greatest among men, tyāga has been clearly declared to be of three kinds.
18.4 Listen to My decision, O Arjuna, about abandonment; for abandonment (Tyāga) is declared to be of three kinds.
