यत्तु कामेप्सुना कर्म साहङ्कारेण वा पुनः। क्रियते बहुलायासं तद्राजसमुदाह्मतम् ॥18.24॥
18.24 yat tu kāmepsunā karma sāhaṃkāreṇa vā punaḥ kriyate bahulāyāsaṃ tad rājasam udāhṛtam

But action (karma) which is performed by one desiring desires (kāma), or again with ego (ahaṅkāra), Involving much effort, that is declared to be of passion (rājasa).
