Free from pride and delusion, having conquered the fault of attachment, constantly abiding in the supreme Self (adhyātma), with desires turned away, Freed from the pairs of opposites known as happiness and sorrow, the unbewildered ones go to that imperishable place.
Without pride or delusion, the fault of attachment overcome, intent on the self within, their desires extinguished, freed from dualities, from joy and suffering, undeluded men reach that realm beyond change.
(5) Not proud, not fooled, [all] taint of attachment crushed, ever abiding in what appertains to self, desire suppressed, released from [all] dualities made known in pleasure as in pain, the undeluded march ahead to that state which knows no change.
15.5 The wise ones who are free from pride and non-discrimination, who have conquered the evil of association, [Hatred and love arising from association with foes and friends.] who are ever devoted to spirituality, completely free from desires, free from the dualities called happiness and sorrow, reach that undecaying State.
15.5 Without the delusion of perverse notions (concerning the self), victorious over the evil of attachment, ever devoted to the self, turned away from desires and liberated from dualities called pleasure and pain, the undeluded go to that imperishable status.
15.5 Free from pride and delusion, victorious over the evil of attachment, dwelling constantly in the Self, their desires having completely turned away, freed from the pairs of opposites known as pleasure and pain, the undeluded reach the eternal goal.
