Just as the one sun illuminates this entire world, So the owner of the field (kṣetrī) illuminates the entire field (kṣetra), O descendant of Bharata (Bhārata).
They reach the highest state who with the eye of knowledge know the boundary between the knower and its field, and the freedom creatures have from nature.
(33) As the one sun lights up this whole universe, so does the 'owner of the field' illumine the whole, 'field'.
13.34 As the single sun illumines this whole world, similarly, O descendant of the Bhārata dynasty, the Knower of the field illumines the whole field.
