You lick Your lips, devouring on all sides all the worlds with Your flaming mouths. Having filled the entire universe with brilliance (tejas), Your fierce rays are burning, O Vishnu!
You lick at the worlds around you, devouring them with flaming mouths; and your terrible fires scorch the entire universe, filling it, Vishnu, with violent rays.
(30) On every side You lick, lick up,—devouring, worlds, universes, everything,—with burning mouths. Viṣṇu! your dreadful rays of light fill the whole universe with flames-of-glory, scorching [everywhere].
11.30 You lick Your lips while devouring all the creatures from every side with flaming mouths which are completely filling the entire world with heat.
11.30 Devouring all the worlds on every side with your flaming mouths, You lick them up. Your fiery rays, filling the whole universe with their radiance, scorch it, O Viṣṇu.
11.30 Thou lickest up, devouring all the worlds on every side with Thy flaming mouths. Thy fierce rays, filling the whole world with radiance, are burning, O Viṣṇu!
