For having seen You touching the sky, blazing, many-colored, with mouths wide open, with large blazing eyes, My inner self (antarātman) is trembling, and I find no resolve (dhṛti) nor peace (śama), O Vishnu!
Vishnu, seeing you brush the clouds with flames of countless colors, your mouths agape, your huge eyes blazing, my inner self quakes and I find no resolve or tranquility.
(24) Ablaze with many-colored [flames] You touch the sky, your mouths wide open, [gaping,] your eyes distended, blazing: so do I see Yon and my inmost self is shaken: I cannot bear it, I find no peace, O Viṣṇu!
11.24 O Viṣṇu, verily, seeing Your form touching heaven, blazing, with many colors, open-mouthed, with fiery large eyes, I , becoming terrified in my mind, do not find steadiness and peace.
11.24 When I behold You touching the Supreme Heaven, shining, multicolored, with yawning mouths and large resplendent eyes, my inner being trembles in fear. I am unable to find support or peace, O Viṣṇu.
11.24 On seeing Thee (the Cosmic Form) touching the sky, shining in many colors, with mouths wide open, with large fiery eyes, I am terrified at heart and find neither courage nor peace, O Viṣṇu.
