You are the imperishable (akṣara), the supreme to be known, You are the supreme resting place of this universe. You are the imperishable protector of the eternal duty (śāśvatadharma); You are the everlasting Person (puruṣa), so I believe.
You are to be known as supreme eternity, the deepest treasure of all that is, the immutable guardian of enduring sacred duty; I think you are man's timeless spirit.
(18) You are the Imperishable, [You] wisdom's highest goal; You, of this universe the last prop-and-resting-place, You the changeless, [You] the guardian of eternal law, You the primeval Person; [at last] I understand.
11.18 You are the Immutable, the supreme One to be known; You are the most perfect repository of this Universe. You are the Imperishable, the Protector of the ever-existing religion; You are the eternal Person. This is my belief.
11.18 You are the Imperishable, Supreme One to be realized. You are the Supreme Substratum of this universe. You are immutable, the guardian of the eternal law, I know You are the Supreme Person who is everlasting.
11.18 Thou art the Imperishable, the Supreme Being, worthy to be known. Thou art the great treasure-house of this universe; Thou art the imperishable protector of the eternal Dharma; Thou art the Primal Person, I deem.
