Or rather, by this extensive knowledge, what use is it to you, O Arjuna? Having sustained this entire world with a single fraction of Myself, I remain.
What use is so much knowledge to you, Arjuna? I stand sustaining this entire world with a fragment of my being.
(42) But where's the use for you to know so much, Arjuna? This whole universe I hold apart [supporting it] with [but] one fragment of [Myself], yet I abide [unchanging].
10.42 Or, on the other hand, what is the need of your knowing this extensively, O Arjuna? I remain sustaining this whole creation in a special way with a part (of Myself).
10.42 But of what use to you is all this extensive knowledge O Arjuna? I stand sustaining this whole universe with a fragment of Mine (of My power).
10.42 But, of what avail to thee is the knowledge of all these details, O Arjuna? I exist, supporting this whole world by one part of Myself.
