Of creations I am the beginning, the end, and also the middle, O Arjuna. Of sciences, the science of the supreme Self (adhyātmavidyā); of those who debate, I am the reasoning (vāda).
I am the beginning, the middle, and the end of creations, Arjuna; of sciences, I am the science of the self; I am the dispute of orators.
(32) Among emanations the beginning and the end and the middle too am I; among sciences I am the science concerned with Self, among those who speak [their very] speech am I.
