Of horses, know Me to be Uchchaihshravas, born of the nectar of immortality (amṛta). Of lordly elephants, Airavata; and among men, the king (narādhipam).
Among horses, know me as the immortal stallion born from the sea of elixir; among elephants, the divine king's mount; among men, the king.
(27) Among horses know that I am Uccaiḥśravas, [lndra's steed,] from nectar born, among princely elephants [India's, called] Airāvata, among men the king.
10.27 Among horses, know Me to be Uccaiḥśravas, born of nectar; Airāvata among the lordly elephants; and among men, the Kind of men. [Uccaiḥśravas and Airāvata are respectively the divine horse and elephant of Indra.]
10.27 Of horses know Me to be Uccaiḥśravas the nectar-born. Of lordly elephants, I am Airāvata, and of men, I am the monarch.
