But those of ours who are distinguished, Note them, O best of the twice-born (dvijottama). The leaders of my army, For your information, I name them to you:
Now, honored priest, mark the superb men on our side as I tell you the names of my army's leaders.
(7) Listen too, great Brahman, to [the list of] those outstanding on our side, the captains of my army; I will enumerate them so that you may be kept informed,
1.7 But, O best among the Brahmaṇas, please be appraised of those who are foremost among us, the commanders of my army. I speak of them to you by way of example.
1.7 Know, O best of Brahmaṇas, those who are important on our side -- - those who are the commanders of my army. I shall name them to refresh your memory.
1.7 Know also, O best among the twice-born! the names of those who are the most distinguished amongst ourselves, the leaders of my army; these I name to thee for thy information.
