Arjuna said: To the Lord of the senses (Hṛṣīkeśa) then, He spoke this word, O Lord of the earth (Mahīpate): In the middle of both armies, Establish my chariot, O Infallible one (Acyuta).
He told his charioteer: “Krishna, halt my chariot between the armies!
(21) Then between the two armies, Sire, he addressed Kṛṣṇa in these words: 'Halt the chariot, unfallen [Lord],
1.21 Arjuna said -- O Acyuta, please place my chariot between both the armies -- .
1.21 And he spoke, O lord of earth, these words to Sri Kṛṣṇa... Arjuna said: ...Draw up my chariot, O Kṛṣṇa, between the two armies,
1.21 Arjuna said -- In the middle between the two armies, place my chariot, O Kṛṣṇa, so that I may behold those who stand here desirous to fight, and know with whom I must fight, when the battle is about to commence.
