Bhishma, fiery elder of the Kurus, roared his lion's roar and blew his conch horn, exciting Duryodhana's delight.
(12) To give him cheer, [Bhīṣma,] the aged grandsire of the Kuru clan, roared like a lion, loud [and strong], and undaunted blew his conch.
