The Blessed Lord (Śrī Bhagavān) said: But this most secret thing I will declare to you, to the uncomplaining one: knowledge (jñāna) together with realization (vijñāna), having known which you will be freed from evil.
I will teach the deepest mystery to you since you find no fault; realizing it with knowledge and judgment, you will be free from misfortune.
The Blessed Lord said: (1) But most secret-and-mysterious is his wisdom I will [now] reveal,—[a wisdom] based on holy writ and consonant with experience: to you [will I proclaim it,] for in you there is no envy; and knowing it you shall be freed from ill.
9.1 The Blessed Lord said -- However, to you who are not given to caviling I shall speak of this highest secret itself, which is Knowledge [Jñāna may mean Brahman that is Consciousness, or Its knowledge gathered from the Vedas (parokṣa-jñāna). Vijñāna is direct experience (aparokṣa-jñāna).] combined with experience, by realizing which you shall be free from evil.
9.1 The Lord said -- I shall declare to you, who does not cavil, this most mysterious knowledge together with special knowledge, knowing which you would be freed from evil.
9.1 The Blessed Lord said -- I shall now declare to thee who does not cavil, the greatest secret, the knowledge combined with experience (Self-realization). Having known this thou shalt be free evil.
