The domain of beings (adhibhūta) is the perishable nature, and the Person (puruṣa) is the domain of gods (adhidaiva). I Myself am the domain of sacrifice (adhiyajña) here in the body, O best of the embodied ones (dehabhṛtāṃ vara).
Its inner being is perishable existence; its inner divinity is man's spirit; I am the inner sacrifice here in your body, O Best of Mortals.
(4) In so far as it appertains to [all] contingent beings, it is [their] perishable nature, and in so far as it appertains to the gods, [it is] 'person (spirit)'. In so far as it appertains to sacrifice [it is] I here in this body, 0 best of men who bodies bear.
8.4 The which exists in the physical plane is the mutable entity, and what exists in the divine plane is the Person. O best among the embodied beings, I Myself am the entity that exists in the sacrifice in this body.
