I am the taste (rasa) in the waters, O son of Kunti (Kaunteya), I am the light in the moon and the sun; The sacred syllable Om (praṇava) in all the Vedas, sound in space, and manhood in men.
I am the taste in water, Arjuna, the light in the moon and sun, OM resonant in all sacred lore, the sound in space, valor in men.
(8) In water I am the flavor, in sun and moon the light, in all the Vedas [the sacred syllable] Om, in space [I am] sound, in men [their] manliness am I.
7.8 O son of Kuntī, I am the taste of water, I am the effulgence of the moon and the sun; (the letter) Om in all the Vedas, the sound in space, and manhood in men.
7.8 I am the taste in the waters, O Arjuna! I am the light in the sun and the moon; the sacred syllable Om in all the Vedas; sound in the ether; and manhood in men am I.
7.8 I am the sapidity in water, O Arjuna; I am the light in the moon and the sun; I am the syllable Om in all the Vedas, sound in ether and virility in men.
