But striving with effort, the yogi, thoroughly cleansed of sin (kilbiṣa), Perfected through many births, then goes to the supreme goal.
The man of discipline, striving with effort, purified of his sins, perfected through many births, finds a higher way.
(45) But cleansed of taint [that] athlete of the spirit strives on with utmost zeal, through many, many births [at last] perfected; and then the highest path he treads.
6.45 However, the yogi, applying himself assiduously, becoming purified from sin and attaining perfection through many births, thereby achieves the highest Goal.
6.45 But the Yogin striving earnestly, cleansed of all his stains, and perfected through many births, reaches the supreme state.
6.45 But the Yogi who strives with assiduity, purified of sins and perfected gradually through many births, reaches the highest goal.
