Of one whose attachment is gone, who is liberated, whose mind is established in knowledge (jñāna), Who performs action (karma) for the sake of sacrifice (yajña), his action is entirely dissolved.
When a man is unattached and free, his reason deep in knowledge, acting only in sacrifice, his action is wholly dissolved.
(23) Attachment gone, deliverance won, his thoughts are fixed on wisdom: he works for sacrifice [alone], and all the work [he ever did] entirely melts away.
4.23 Of the liberated person who has got rid of attachment, whose mind is fixed in Knowledge, actions undertaken for a sacrifice get totally destroyed.
4.23 Of one whose attachments are gone, who is free, whose mind is established in knowledge, who works only for sacrifices, his Karma is entirely dissolved.
4.23 To one who is devoid of attachment, who is liberated, whose mind is established in knowledge, who works for the sake of sacrifice (for the sake of God), the whole action is dissolved.
