Arjuna said: What is the description of one of steady wisdom (sthitaprajña), Who is established in meditation (samādhi), O Beautiful-haired one (Keśava)? How would one of steady thought (sthitadhī) speak? How would he sit, how would he walk?
Krishna, what defines a man deep in contemplation whose insight and thought are sure? How would he speak? How would he sit? How would he move?
(54) What is the mark of the man of steady wisdom immersed in enstasy? How does he speak, this man of steadied thought? How sit? How walk? The Blessed Lord said:
2.54 Arjuna said -- O Keśava, what is the description of a man of steady wisdom who is Self-absorbed? How does the man of steady wisdom speak? How does he sit? How does he move about?
2.54 Arjuna said -- What is the mode of speech of him who is of firm wisdom, who is established in the control of the mind? What will a man of firm wisdom speaks, O Kṛṣṇa? How does he sit? How does he move?
2.54 Arjuna said -- What, O Kṛṣṇa, is the description of him who has steady wisdom, and is merged in the superconscious state? How does one of steady wisdom speak, how does he sit, how does he walk?
