But that knowledge (jñāna) which sees various distinct beings, As separate in all beings, know that knowledge to be of passion (rājasa).
Know passionate knowledge as that which regards various distinct existences separately in all creatures.
(21) But that [kind of] knowledge which in all contingent beings discerns in separation all manner of modes of being, different and distinct,—this, you must know, is knowledge born of Passion.
