The Blessed Lord (Śrī Bhagavān) said: This body, O son of Kunti (Kaunteya), is called the field (kṣetra). He who knows it, those who know call him the knower of the field (kṣetrajña).
Know me as the field-knower in all fields—what I deem to be knowledge is knowledge of the field and its knower.
The Blessed Lord said: (1) The body is called the 'field' and he who knows it is the 'knower of the field', or so it has been said by those who know it.
13.2 The Blessed Lord said -- O son of Kuntī, this body is referred to as the 'field'. Those who are versed in this call him who is conscious of it as the 'knower of the field'.
13.2 The Lord said -- This body, O Arjuna, is called the Field, Kṣetra. He who knows it is called the Filed-knower, Kṣetrajña, by those who know the self.
13.2 The Blessed Lord said -- This body, O Arjuna, is called the field; he who knows it is called the knower of the field, by those who know of them.
