But if to fix your mind steadily on Me you are not able, Then by the discipline of practice (abhyāsayoga), desire to attain Me, O Winner of wealth (Dhanañjaya).
If you cannot concentrate your thought firmly on me, then seek to reach me, Arjuna, by discipline in practice.
(9) But if you are unable in all steadfastness to concentrate your thoughts on Me, then, seek to win Me by effort unremitting.
12.9 If, however, you are unable to establish the mind steadily on Me, then, O Dhanañjaya, seek to attain Me through the Yoga of Practice.
12.9 If now you are unable to focus your mind on Me, then seek to reach Me, O Arjuna, by the practice of repetition.
12.9 If thou art unable to fix thy mind steadily on Me, then by the Yoga of constant practice do thou seek to reach Me, O Arjuna.
