Not hating any beings, friendly and compassionate as well, Free from the sense of "mine" (nirmama) and free from ego (nirahaṅkāra), equal in sorrow and happiness, forgiving.
One who bears hate for no creature is friendly, compassionate, unselfish, free of individuality, patient, the same in suffering and joy.
(13) Let a man feel hatred for no contingent being, let him be friendly, compassionate; let him be done with thoughts of ‘I' and 'mine', the same in pleasure as in pain, long-suffering,
12.13 He who is not hateful towards any creature, who is friendly and compassionate, who has no idea of 'mine' and the idea of egoism, who is the same under sorrow and happiness, who is forgiving;
