The Blessed Lord (Śrī Bhagavān) said: By Me, being pleased, to you, O Arjuna, this supreme form was shown through My own discipline (yoga). Made of brilliance, universal, infinite, primal, which has not been seen before by anyone other than you.
To grace you, Arjuna, I revealed through self-discipline my higher form, which no one but you has ever beheld— brilliant, total, boundless, primal.
The Blessed Lord said: (47) Because I desired to show you favor, Arjuna, by my Self's own power (yoga) I have shown you my highest form,—glorious, all-embracing, infinite, primeval, which none but you has ever seen before.
11.47 The Blessed Lord said -- Out of grace, O Arjuna, this supreme, radiant, Cosmic, infinite, primeval form-which (form) of Mine has not been seen before by anyone other than you, has been shown to you by Me through the power of My own Yoga.
11.47 The Lord said -- By My grace, O Arjuna this Supreme Form, luminous, universal, infinite, primal, never seen before by anyone but you, has been revealed to you through My own free will.
11.47 The Blessed Lord said -- O Arjuna, this Cosmic Form has graciously been shown to thee by Me by My own Yogic power; full of splendor, primeval, and infinite, this Cosmic Form of Mine has never been seen before by anyone other than thyself.
