Out of compassion for them indeed, dwelling within their own self (ātmabhāvasthaḥ), I destroy The darkness born of ignorance (ajñāna), with the shining lamp of knowledge (jñāna).
Dwelling compassionately deep in the self, I dispel darkness born of ignorance with the radiant light of knowledge.
(11) Out of compassion for those same men [all] darkness born of ignorance I dispel with wisdom's shining lamp, abiding [ever] in my own [true] nature.
10.11 Out of compassion for them alone, I, residing in their hearts, destroy the darkness born of ignorance with the luminous lamp of Knowledge.
