The Omnipresent Lord (vibhu) does not take on the sin (pāpa) or the good deed of anyone. Knowledge (jñāna) is enveloped by ignorance (ajñāna); by that, beings are bewildered.
The lord does not partake of anyone's evil or good conduct; knowledge is obscured by ignorance, so people are deluded.
(15) He takes not on the good and evil works of anyone at all—[that] all-pervading lord. By ignorance is wisdom overspread; thereby are creatures fooled.
5.15 The Omnipresent neither accepts anybody's sin nor even virtue. Knowledge remains covered by ignorance. Thereby the creatures become deluded.
5.15 The all-pervading One takes away neither the sin nor the merit of any one. Knowledge is enveloped by ignorance. Creatures are thereby deluded.
5.15 The Lord takes neither the demerit nor even the merit of any; knowledge is enveloped by ignorance, thereby beings are deluded.
