For the wise, endowed with understanding (buddhi), Having abandoned the fruit born of action (karma), Freed from the bondage of birth, Go to the place that is free from illness.
Wise men disciplined by understanding relinquish the fruit born of action; freed from these bonds of rebirth, they reach a place beyond decay.
(51) For those wise men who are integrated by the soul (buddhi-yukta), who have renounced the fruit that is born of works, these will be freed from the bondage of [re-]birth and fare to that region that knows no ill.
2.51 Because, those who are devoted to wisdom, (they) becoming men of Enlightenment by giving up the fruits produced by actions, reach the state beyond evils by having become freed from the bondage of birth.
2.51 The wise who possess evenness of mind, relinquishing the fruits born of action, are freed from the bondage of rebirth, and go to the region beyond all ills.
2.51 The wise, possessed of knowledge, having abandoned the fruits of their actions, and being freed from the fetters of birth, go to the place which is beyond all evil.
