From the overcoming by lawlessness (adharma), O Dark one (Kṛṣṇa), The women of the family become corrupted; When the women are corrupted, O Descendant of Vrishni (Vārṣṇeya), The mixing of castes (varṇasaṅkara) arises.
In overwhelming chaos, Krishna, women of the family are corrupted; and when women are corrupted, disorder is born in society.
(41) With lawlessness triumphant, Kṛṣṇa, the family's women are debauched; once the women are debauched, there will be a mixing of caste.
1.41 O Kṛṣṇa, when vice predominates, the women of the family become corrupt. O descendent of the Vṛṣṇis, when women become corrupted, it results in the intermingling of castes.
1.41 When lawlessness prevails, O Kṛṣṇa, the women of the clan become corrupt; when women become corrupt, there arises intermixture of classes.
1.41. By the prevalence of impiety, O Kṛṣṇa, the women of the family become corrupt; and , women being corrupted, O Vārṣṇeya (descendant of Vṛṣṇī), there arises intermingling of castes.
